As I walked out of the metro station I was surprised to hear a couple speaking Spanish. I just though they were tourists, however as I kept walking I proved myself to be wrong as I found many other people speaking Spanish. One of the café vendors even surprised me as he greeted me saying “Hola!” He overheard me speaking Spanish with my friends. That part of the city I found it chaotic, we were walking through the streets and bumping into a lot of people. Suddenly we found an isolated alley so we decided to stop there. To our surprise this alley had all kind of plants you could imagine. It was like a little save haven in between all the city chaos. It felt like a place where you can relax and reconnect with yourself. All green, with arches made out of branches that came together in a very harmonious way. The alley drew me to keep walking into it, you couldn’t see the end. It was amazing how that place of peace could be hidden in the middle of the city. I felt home, it was like if I was in my backyard, is amazing how nature can make art without even trying. As I see it, art has the power to transport you, and that alley was a masterpiece to me.
