- Huge shopping mall
Reflection
Fascinating story the one of Saint Denis. Known as the guy who, after it was beheaded, walked to where this basilica - that carries his name- stands now. The basilica there stores many interesting things inside, however the most that it stores is history. From this stop is impossible to miss the flea market, it is super crowded. Curious to observe how it has more people that the actual mall that’s right next to the metro station. It called my attention that the city hall is right next to the basilica, and I couldn’t stop wondering if this religion-power relation that the monarchy used to exert back in those days, has some effect today.
